In some ways a self catering holiday spent at Cruachan Holiday Home, located in Lochinver, feels as if you have gone back to a simpler time. Keep toasty with the wood fire stove while reading a good book. Throw feed out and watch the different species of birds enjoy a meal from the large viewing windows in the main living area. Take a walk out of the back gate for a fantastic view of the ocean while enjoying the sounds of the wind. Enjoy one of many hikes through the woods, along streams and rivers or walk to the Inverkirkaig shore and listen to the crashing waves.
LOCHINVER
Lochinver is located on the coast in the Assynt district of Sutherland, in the north west highlands of Scotland. Foodies will love the many fine eating establishments. Hikers, bikers, fisherman, fisherwoman and photagraphers will feel as if in paradise. Then, after a long day of exploring head back to our self catering accommodation for a recharge.

Within walkable distance from our self catering accommodation, you will find incredible beauty! Whether hiking the Culag Woods, River Inver and Glencanisp circuit, Inverkirkaig falls or Achmelvic beach you will be blown away by the beauty of the area.
ABOUT US
For almost two decades our family has been enjoying Cruachan, as well as, the many excellent restaurants and outdoor activities in and around Lochinver. In 2017 we decided to share Cruachan, the home we love so much, with others.
